This is a general cyber safety session. Students are taken through steps and given strategies on how to navigate their ever-growing online world safely.

Teachers will be given resources to use in class to cement the learnings.
Audience: Grades 1 & 2
Duration: 60 minutes
Recommended workshop size: Two classes

Outcomes:

• Students will understand that the internet is a great place where we can do wonderful things, but like everywhere in life, following some rules can help us keep safe.

• Students will learn strategies they can adopt to keep themselves safe.
• Students will understand the importance of balance between being online and offline.
