The staff at Suncorp Dubbo are swapping their paler blue corporate uniform for vibrant blue Dolly’s Dream shirts this week.
The Suncorp community spirit will be on show on Do It For Dolly Day on Friday 14 May as the team take a stand against bullying.
They have turned the branch blue in support of Do It For Dolly Day and will be fundraising on Friday May 14 by selling Dolly’s Dream cookies and running a cake stall.
Some cake-selling last week has already raised some much-needed funds.
“All fundraising proceeds will go directly to supporting Dolly’s Dream and their efforts to prevent bullying of young people in our communities,” branch manager Kayleen Murray
says.
“This cause is close to Suncorp’s heart and we’re proud to support Dolly’s Dream.
“Our branch plays an important role in the community and we have a duty to support the efforts to protect our children and families and promote an anti-bullying culture.”
And Suncorp’s Brighter Futures program will also match the branch’s fundraising up to $2,500.
