May Team Penning Competition

Entries are now open for our final double header team penning competition, on the 11th and 12th of May. 

Saturday the 11th is our Do it for Dolly Day fundraiser. We will have a raffle, guess the number jar, and a donation tin for your spare shrapnel. All proceeds from these will be donated to the Do it for Dolly day cause, we also have a link for our clubs donation page here:

Dolly Day is blue themed, so we really want to see you all get in the spirit and embrace the blue (surely we can step it up from Saint Patties day?). There are prizes on the line for best dressed, and of course if you pen the blue cattle you’ll want to do it fast to get in the running for an extra reward there! 🦋

Sunday the 12th is Mother’s Day, we’ll have another raffle for those of you who left your mother’s gifts a little late, as well as another guess the numbers jar for some fun 💐

Please note a separate entry form is required for each day you compete.

The canteen will be operating over the weekend for our usual snack and drink needs, and Saturday night we will have a roast dinner for those that want to stay back or camp overnight. 

⌚️ Entries close on Friday the 3rd of May at 7pm sharp ⌚️

Some important details to remember:

- the location for the double header competition is AKAS Equestrian, 130 Booker Road, Templers SA.

• please remember if you are camping to abide by the AKAS groundskeeping rules and be considerate of our hosts if arriving the day before. 

- if you have any questions or queries please email or call the secretary. 

- If you’re able to volunteer on the day get in contact with the committee, we will also accept volunteers in the form of family/friends that come along to the competition 😁
