All Women Simpson Desert Crossing
Hi family and friends,
Most of you will know that the 3 of us like to spend a little time on 2 (or 3) wheels. So we've decided to take it up an notch and set ourselves a challenge for 2024 - crossing the Simpson Desert on our motorbikes with a group of other like minded, all female, rev-heads.
In August, we'll be riding through some of the most isolated and incredible areas of Australia, biking over 500 kms, across 1100 sand dunes. The trip incudes a crossing of the Simpson Desert from Mt Dare (SA) to Birsdville (QLD), via the French and QAA Lines, in addition to a tour of the iconic Oodnadatta and Birdsville tracks.
We’ll be travelling and camping under the stars for a total of 7 days, spending 4 days and 3 nights crossing the mighty Munga Thirri.
The AWSDC has chosen to support Dolly's Dream and has been fundraising for them since the first event in 2019.
Your donation will help raise much-needed funds for Dolly's Dream and support their anti-bullying initiatives and programs that are helping to empower and educate our community about the power of kindness and bullying prevention.
