Dolly’s Dream response to news of another tragedy because of bullying

07 Nov 2024

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of yet another young life due to bullying. Our hearts go out to all families, friends, and communities affected by such devastating losses. Each tragedy serves as a painful reminder of why Dolly’s Dream exists. No child should ever feel so isolated or suffer so deeply due to bullying.

Dolly’s Dream was founded in the wake of tragedy, and it continues today with a clear purpose:

Dolly’s Dream is committed to changing the culture of bullying by addressing the impact of bullying, anxiety, depression and youth suicide, through education and direct support to young people and families.

This recent heartbreaking news reminds us of the work that still needs to be done and strengthens our resolve to continue advocating for a world where children and young people feel safe, supported, and free from bullying.

If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. Support is available, and no one should face this alone.

In Dolly’s own words, “Speak, even if your voice shakes.”
