We love seeing a sea of blue as Do It For Dolly Day excitement sweeps across Australia in the lead up to May 9th, but we appreciate that some people might not be able to hold their fundraising activities at this time.
The Do It For Dolly Day campaign officially closes on June 30 with all funds banked by that date, so if your plans extend beyond this time we suggest you take the pressure off and sign up as a Dolly’s Dream community fundraiser.
Don’t worry, we will of course support your activity as we do with all our wonderful Dolly’s Dream community fundraisers throughout the year. You can register for a Dolly’s Dream community fundraising activity here.
We are so grateful and appreciative of the support from across Australia to date that has allowed us to make a positive change in a short time. But we aren’t done, and we need your support so that we can continue this vital work.
Sadly, 1-in-6 Australian students are being bullied every week*, and 1-in-7 young people aged 10-14 who've been bullied had thoughts of suicide*. Your support and donations mean that we can continue to develop and provide vital anti-bullying programs and initiatives for children, families, schools and communities across Australia.
Your support helps us continue Dolly’s legacy of kindness and hope, empowering young people, families, and communities to build a world free from bullying.
Every dollar raised on Do It For Dolly Day directly supports Dolly’s Dream’s essential programs, including:
- School Workshops: Interactive, judgment-free workshops that teach students about anti-bullying and staying safe online.
- Beacon Cyber Safety App: Practical tools and trusted resources to help families navigate technology and reduce online harms.
- Parent Hub: A one-stop resource for reliable advice on bullying and online safety, making family life a little easier.
- 24/7 Support Line: Free, confidential counselling for families and children, ensuring help is always within reach.
- Mental Health First Aid Training: Training community members to better respond to mental health challenges and build resilience.

We want you to get those fundraising dollars in the bank as soon as possible – so we can put them straight to work! Please bank your funds by June 30. You can bank your funds directly through your fundraising page, or request our bank account details here.
Unfortunately, due to Do It For Dolly Day being our busiest time of year and the large number of requests we receive, we are unable to accommodate requests for a Dolly's Dream representative to speak at community fundraising events. We are hoping this will change in the future, so watch this space.
All Do It For Dolly Day fundraising events and activities must be registered with Dolly’s Dream. Registering your event or activity ensures you will receive all Do It For Dolly Day updates and resources to help make your event a huge success. Register now to take part in Do It For Dolly Day.
Our Dolly’s Dream Code of Conduct and Terms and Conditions ensure that our supporters’ behaviour reflects the values of Dolly’s Dream, promoting kindness and our anti-bullying message. Our Photo Consent Form ensures that we have your approval to use some of the fantastic Do It For Dolly Day images that you share with us to promote within our community.
You can email us at community@dollysdream.org.au or if you prefer to speak to one of our team members directly, call us during business hours at 1800 951 955.
