Why this is important

I initially do this for my bright spark daughter, she was bullied so intensely at school. From year 8 to year 10. She kept quiet until she could not anymore and we found ways to protect her. Or so I thought, the years of bullying that created so much doubt about who she was and her place on this earth created a safe space for her suicidal thoughts to live. So much of a safe space that the thoughts became an every day struggle for her to stop from completing suicide. She is now 19 years old and is starting university, she has a good group of friends and has found her strength to be who she is with no apologies!
I now do this for all young people who are struggling with the scrutiny of other people thoughts, feelings and words that is bullying. No child should feel that they need to remain silent. No parent or carer should have to learn of their child's struggle when it is too late.
