Big challenge this year as the temperatures drop so I am taking part in Do It For Dolly Day! It is a day dedicated to bringing the community together, spreading kindness and uniting in taking a stand against bullying.
My challenge on May 10 is to run upstream and swim downstream the magnificent Murray river at Moama where I live. It will be 10 continual laps of run swim and will be at least 13 km running and 10 km swimming non wetsuit in 14° water. It’s a big ask but hopefully a few mates will join in and help out.Â

I love this cause. I was bullied very badly in secondary school. I ended up with agoraphobia, I couldn't leave the house. One of the biggest keys to my healing was to forgive my bullies. Raising awareness and coming around the bullies as much as the bullied is so important because underlying, some of those bullies are hurting as much as the ones being bullied. As a community we have such an opportunity to support anyone who needs it. I love that we can do that!!
